Campus low/no code project – overview and next steps

Sent by DoIT Communications on behalf of the UW–Madison Low/No Code project team.

Greetings,

A UW-Madison IT project team is investigating low/no code tools and seeks to ensure all interested campus parties are kept up-to-date and are involved in the feedback process.

“Low/no code” refers to tools that promise quick and easy application development and process automation with little to no coding required. This fast-growing space looks to provide new opportunities for campus, as well as a possible migration optionfor those ancillary systems not moving into Workday as part of the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP).

The project team will recommend how these tools might fit into the broader campus IT environment, when and how they could be leveraged and supported, and which specific tools are viable campus options.

Please add your name to this sheet by end of day on Tuesday, August 9 if you are interested in staying up-to-date or involved – Low/No Code Sign Up Sheet – Google Sheets. We also ask that you forward this message to any campus individuals or groups that may be interested.

Please reach out to J.J. Du Chateau (Jonathan.DuChateau@wisc.edu) or Joe Kelly (Joe.Kelly@wisc.edu) with any questions regarding this project.

Thank you,

Low/No Code Project Team
