Business analyst team (BA)

The BA team identifies campus ancillary systems, works with the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) to gather enough information for them to determine if a system (or part of a system) can go into Workday, and determines next steps for systems that will not be transitioning into Workday.

Platform team

The Platform team leads the effort to enable systems to operate in a modernized way when Workday goes live. They provide tools and platforms (e.g. low code/no code) that will be needed to make the appropriate transition, to Workday or other solution.

Data lake team

This team assists in the effort to provide ancillary systems with a source of HR and finance data separate from Workday databases. They coordinate with Enterprise Analytics Platform (EAP) and Office of Data Management & Analytics Services (ODMAS) on developing this repository that can be used for both operational and analytical purposes for UW–‍Madison.
