Madison’s ancillary systems

Final disposition definitions

Keep
A system will be assigned “Keep” if a process cannot be updated, consolidated, or simplified by Workday functionality.
Replace
A system will be assigned “replace” if it no longer supports UW’s business needs in their entirety or if all of the processes it serves can be simplified, consolidated, or performed with Workday or RAMP functionality.
Partial Replace
A system will be assigned “partial replace” if it may need system retrofits and integrations to operate “keep” business processes successfully with Workday data. There may be some data conversion needed for the “replace” business processes.
Retired
A system will be assigned “retired” if it is no longer in use or it will be retired in lieu of updating to be compatible with Workday (i.e., seeking other options).
Not Yet Reviewed
A system will be assigned “not yet reviewed” if the institution has not yet met with ATP to discuss the respective ancillary systems.
TBD
A system will be assigned “TBD” if the institution has met with ATP to discuss their respective ancillary system but further information/research is needed in order to make a final determination.
N/A
A system will be assigned “N/A” if there will be no impact to the identified system by ATP/UDDS changes.
Not Using
A system will be assigned “not using” if it was reported by a party other than the system stakeholder, and the system stakeholder subsequently confirmed they are not using the system.
