IAM Managed Manifest Groups using UDDS

This communication is being sent to Manifest group administrators (aka owners) that are using Manifest groups that are managed by IAM and use data-driven UDDS groups.

Dear Colleagues,

We believe that you either use or are interested in the Manifest groups that are managed by IAM and use data-driven UDDS groups. These groups are tracked in the “IAM Managed groups” tab of Manifest groups using UDDS_shared Google sheet.

The week of June 16, the IAM team will update the Workday Organization ID for these Manifest groups. We will use the Workday Organization ID with the highest membership overlap with the UDDS group the week of June 16. After we have updated these IAM managed Manifest groups using UDDS, we will reply to this email so you may review these updates.

The timeline of these updates is after the last day for changes to Supervisory Organization data in HRS, which is June 10, according to the Cutover & Deployment for Workday Go-Live page, under the Transaction and Process Freeze Dates section.

To Know:

  • You should not edit IAM managed Manifest groups. If you have questions or feedback on the Workday Organizations these Manifest groups are using please come to a IAM Q&A session or email the UW–Madison ancillary system team. Your question must include the Manifest group (column A), the UDDS group (column E), and the Workday Organization ID.
    • IAM Managed manifest groups currently contain the Workday Org ID with the highest membership overlap percent as of April 8, 2025. These Workday Organizations will be updated the week of June 16th.
  • IAM is having separate meetings with DoIT IT Service owners that are using standardized population groups. If you are using standardized population groups and not part of those conversations, please let us know by replying to this email and we will get you included.

Questions? Most questions can be answered by reviewing the Manifest Groups Using UDDS Transition to Workday Organizations (Directions) which contains a FAQ section that is continually updated. Please attend an IAM Q&A session.

Thank you, Identity & Access Management Team
