This communication is being sent to data view owners and associated contacts for legacy data views.
Dear Colleagues,
In a previous email, the IAM team shared next steps and instructions for testing your data views. Each data view has been assigned a testing window in the Legacy Dataview Testing_Shared Google sheet. All data view testing must be concluded by Friday, June 6, 2025. No exceptions or extensions will be made.
On Monday June 9th, you will no longer be able to test your data view or report testing progress in the Legacy Dataview Testing_Shared Google sheet.
To Do
- Collaborate with your teams to ensure your data views get tested by June 6, 2025.
-
- Leverage the Data View Testing Directions and Legacy Dataview Testing_Shared Google sheet.
- We highly recommend completing the testing prior to June 6. During your testing you may identify updates that need to be made to your data view. The IAM team will need time to make these updates for you and you will need time to re-test.
- As soon as your data view is set to a status of “Data View Owner Able to Test” in column J Legacy Dataview Testing_Shared Google sheet you can begin testing, regardless of your testing window.
- If a data view is not tested, then the associated system may not function properly at Workday go-live.
To Know
- The IAM team must refresh the test environment on June 9, 2025.
- Refreshing the test environment is necessary so that the IAM team can conduct final testing of IAM infrastructure for Workday go-live and prepare the production environment ahead of the start of Workday cutover week (July 1 – July 7).
