Cutover is the time established for moving our business processes from the current technology systems like the Human Resource System (HRS) and Shared Financial System (SFS) to Workday. The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team will also be completing cutover activities for IAM infrastructure including Person Hub, Manifest/ Grouper, Campus Active Directory, Legacy Data Views and NetID Login.
For additional ATP cutover dates please see the Administrative Transformation at UW-Madison Cutover & Deployment for Workday Go-Live page.
IAM cutover dates
Please see the IAM Cutover Dates ASP Website Google sheet for IAM cutover dates. These dates may change because the IAM team relies upon dependencies completed by other teams and processing times vary. Please setup Google sheet notifications if you’d like to know when updates are made to these dates.

Can I get updates on the IAM cutover dates?
Yes, you can create a notification in the IAM Cutover Dates ASP Website Google Sheet. Go to Tools > Notification settings. See Manage your notifications for additional information and support on how to manage notifications within Google Sheets. IAM will not be emailing you as updates are made to the cutover timeline, therefore adding a notification from the Google Sheet is the only way to receive updates on the IAM cutover timeline.
- The IAM Cutover Dates & Support website will reflect any updates to the IAM cutover dates.
After Workday go-live, how can I compare membership of UDDS to membership of a Workday Organization?
After go-live, access to the WaMS UDDS Mapping Tool will be removed and other tools, such as ATP Tableau dashboards should be used.
Can IAM provide updated counts for standardized populations once they get the production data from Workday?
The IAM team is currently meeting to define timelines for cutover. During this cutover planning we will evaluate if this request can be fulfilled.
After Workday go-live will the old version of my data view be available to me?
No, the old version of your data view will not be available. We plan to do a direct cutover. The data view name will be the same as it is today in production. Meaning, that the WDTEMP_ prefix will be removed. What is currently the WDTEMP version will replace all the existing versions in the code.
