This email is being sent to data view owners for data views that were previously reported as no longer needed.
Hello,
On Tuesday, November 4, 2025, data views that were previously reported as no longer needed will have access revoked from all database user accounts meaning that there will be no access to those data views. On Tuesday December 2nd, 2025, these data views will be permanently deleted.
To Do
By Monday November 3, 2025, you must complete the following steps:
- Review the Legacy Data View Testing_Shared Google Sheet
- Search for your name or email address to identify data views that are assigned to you
- Only data views that were previously reported as no longer needed or not needed after Workday go-live are listed
- Columns N – AD include information previously collected during data view testing prior to Workday go-live.
- Determine if this data view is still in use

- If you need to maintain access to this data view, please respond to this email with the following information:
- The name of your data view (this can be found in Column A of the Legacy Data View Testing_Shared Google Sheet).
- The database user account that needs to retain access to this data view.
- If this data view requires updates to accommodate Workday data.
- If you do not need to maintain access to this data view, no additional action is required.

To Know
Prior to Workday go-live we collaborated with data view owners to test data views impacted by the transition to Workday. During that collaboration some data views were identified as no longer needed or not needed after Workday go-live. Any data views that are no longer in use need to be deleted to maintain our infrastructure and decrease technical debt.
