Aug 20 FAQ Session with IAM for Legacy Data View Action Items

This communication is being sent to ancillary system technical and business contacts for systems with a known legacy data view.
Dear Colleagues,
In an email sent on August 1st, we outlined action items for contacts of systems which are using a legacy data view. These action items are to prepare for the upcoming changes associated with the transition to Workday. The Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is hosting a virtual Q&A, August 20th 3:30-4:30pm, to answer questions associated with these action items.

This will not be a presentation, but rather a forum for you to ask questions to aid in completing the below To dos.

To do

  • Update the UW Madison Ancillary Systems with Known Data View_07292024 sheet.
    • Use instructions under the “Directions” tab.
    • Your input is needed to ensure IAM has the necessary information to send you appropriate testing options and information.
    • Complete this by August 15, 2024.
    • The questions likely require input from a member of your technical team.
    • This will take approximately 20 minutes per ancillary system.
  • Attend IAM Q&A Session
    • Date: Aug 20, 3:30pm to 4:30pm
    • Facilitators: Abrianna Barca, IAM associate director; Jessica Esse, business analyst. An IAM Engineer will attend to answer technical questions.
